It’s hard to imagine that the largest Mazu temple in East China is in Suzhou.

I really can’t imagine that the largest Mazu temple in East China is actually in Suzhou. To be more precise, it is in Kunshan, a county-level city in Suzhou. It is only a 40-minute drive from Shanghai and has a history of 1,500 years. This is Huiju Temple. If it hadn't been for the positioning function, I would have almost thought I was in southern Fujian when I was in this temple. Especially at night, when the lights are on, the magnificent temple is breathtaking. At the end of the temple, there is Baodao Youyi Village, a Taiwanese-style street. When the weather is good, it looks like something out of a comic book. Address: Huiju Temple, Kunshan, Suzhou Tickets: Free Huiju Temple was built in the 10th year of Tianjian in the Liang Dynasty. It is a wonderful fusion of southern Fujian style and Jiangnan gardens. Although it is now being rebuilt, it still retains the ancient style. The entire temple is mainly made of red bricks. Its biggest feature is the Tianhou Temple behind it. It is the largest Mazu temple in the entire Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai regions. Connected to Huiju Temple is Baodao Youyi Village. If you come here when the weather is good, it will feel like you are on the streets of Taipei. It is quite good to take pictures.
