It only takes half an hour to take the Shinkansen from Hakata to Kumamoto Station (free ride with the North/All Kyushu JR PASS) However, the bustling Shinshi Street is not near JR Kumamoto Station but next to the Kumamoto Bus Terminal. It takes about 15 minutes to transfer to the light rail from the JR station to "Karashima Town". Please pay more attention when booking a room⚠️ Because I took the bus from Hakata to Kumamoto, and then took the bus to Takachiho when I left, so the hotel on Shinshi Street was my first choice👏 Kumamoto Richmond is only a 5-minute walk from the transfer station/light rail station, and nearby food/shopping/attractions are very convenient!
