Located just 5km away from the city center, Teluk Cempedak is an incredibly popular haunting ground for locals and tourists. Lined with shops, hawker stalls, fast food outlets and restaurants, the beach is well equipped with facilities. At its west end, a short boardwalk leads to Teluk Tongkang, a secluded beach hidden in a bay. Visitors can also climb Bukit Pelindung from a trailhead along the boardwalk.
