Challenging Climb to Batu Caves

I’ve seen photos of this tourist attraction from acquaintances and found it fascinating. So, when I had the opportunity, I stayed in KL over the weekend after our training. This is one of the places I visited during that very short trip - pre-pandemic. At first, I thought that I wouldn’t be able to reach the caves since it was very hot and I am really not in the pink of health. However, the saying “if there’s a will, there’s a way” was indeed true ;) I paced myself, stopping/resting once in a while, until I conquered climbing the over 200 steps of the stairs leading to it. I had a great time admiring and taking pictures of the different statues, shrines and lime formations. I was so tired and it was so hot, so I really didn’t go inside further into the inner chambers. I backed out immediately after seeing another flight of stairs and honestly, I was afraid of the monkeys and the stories I’ve heard of their mischiefs! Hahaha!
