Nizza: French-Italian hideaway in Sofitel KL

Nizza is tucked away in the 3rd floor of Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara. There is a sense of elegance in the air and the hosts treat you well, addressing you by name (if you made a booking and gave your name 😂) and will patiently explain the items on the menu should you need them to. Great place for small groups and the ambience is perfect for good conversations. Having been there 3 times in the past week, I’ve had the opportunity to try a number of their dishes. The pizzas are best devoured when hot. The mains are great to be shared. And the pastas…well, we ended up ordering the pappardelle with wagyu beef cheeks twice coz it’s GOOOOOOOD! 6-8pm is happy hour and the selection of cocktails are pretty impressive. My favourite is the Summer Breeze that seems to be no longer on the menu but you can still request for it! I decided on a non-alcoholic drink and took the chocolate blended and found it to be delicious! The asparagus is good too. We didn’t really get to explore the desserts much and have only tried the gelato and sorbet. I think the latter is superior and if I have the chance I would try the passionfruit sorbet next. Average price per pax depends on whether you have an Accor Plus membership which gives you up to 50% discount on food and 15% off beverages. With that privilege, it comes up to about RM65-RM80/pax which is a rather good deal for such a posh place. My membership also allowed me to get a free 1lbs cake for my friend’s birthday and it was really decadent! My highlight about Nizza is the staff and the ambience. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
