Wat Kaew Ko Wararam - Thailand

Wat Kaew Ko Wararam is the largest and most important temple in Krabi Town and perhaps the second most popular and beautiful after the Tiger Cave Temple in the entire province of Krabi. It is located on a hill overlooking Krabi downtown. It is very remarkable and is popularly called the White Temple, because from the outside it is dazzlingly white. Inside, the walls are painted with colorful frescoes that tell some of the stories from the life of the Buddha. It is not a busy place, so you can expect to be visiting on your own. No entrance fee, just walk straight in. Although it is a small temple, it's definitely worth a quick visit if you're in the local area. #historicplaces
