Ao Nang Beach and Waterfront - Thailand

Ao Nang is Krabi's vibrant tourist centre. There are many hotels, restaurants, bars, massage shops and shopping malls. You can get a view of the nearby islands from the beach and also catch boats to them from here. Ao Nang is used as the main starting point for trips to other beaches and islands in Krabi. Ao Nang Beach is pretty crowded and noisy because of the motor boats endlessly cruising along the coast. The beach is small and narrow, there are no sunbeds, like on other beaches, people sunbathe on rugs and towels. The water is a little dirty, so I wouldn’t go there just to swim or sunbathe. I visited the beach just because the boat to other islands was going from Ao Nang. Ao Nang is 20 minutes by car from Krabi Town. #beachlife
