Suwannakhiri Temple (Pakchan)

Seeing the pagoda, you can probably guess that the original is from the Shwedagon Pagoda in Burma. We may have seen replicas from other places, but this Suwannakiri Temple is special because it is near the Burmese border, just across the Kra Buri River. Many Burmese Buddhists come to make merit at this temple. The pagoda is also on top of a hill. You can drive up to it, the road is not steep. In addition to seeing the beautiful gold color from the top, you can also go up to the Heavenly Building, which is a tower with a clearer view of nature.
