Stay at Ming Garden Hotel Kota Kinabalu

I would say Ming Garden Hotel is a pretty old building given that the facade is a little more run down compared to other hotels BUT I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the hotel room and how comfortable my stay was. We were given a room on the highest floor but unfortunately one without a view. The bed was comfortable and large and the bathroom spacious as well. The only downside was the water pressure wasn’t strong enough and the room wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. The bathroom could do with some heavy scrubbing and vacuuming along the hotel corridors too. Parking was bit of a hassle with limited space and costing us RM 5/entry save for the first entry. However, due to the location and the comfort level of the rooms, it’s still a recommended stay for travelers who are on a budget. #2023travelwish
