Escape to Mengalum Island

Began from Jesselton Point Jetty and we boarded boat for about 1 hour ride to the island. Upon arrival, we couldnt help but snap countless photos of the place. The white sandy beach, ocean and sky were too stunning. After gearing up, we went for 2 diving spots. We swam alongside schools of fish, watched as graceful sea turtles glided by, spotted a playful octopus, etc. Back to the island, we had our sumptuous buffet lunch to fill our tummies. There are also free activities available such as snorkeling and kayaking. You may roam around the island on your own or you can also choose to ride their ATV (own expense). #trip #island #travel #diving
