Island of Marco Polo

The island of Korcula is surrounded by beautiful green/blue/gold Dalmatian waters. The people of Korcula believe Marco Polo was born here, and there is a small museum that is said to be Marco Polo’s old home. There are also many shops paying tribute to the famous explorer. Overall, Korcula is a cute and quaint island - it is tiny and can easy be explored on foot. We also tried the local white wines (grk and posip) at one of the many scenic cafes. #croatia #korcula
