[Kitamachi Shinmeisha Shrine/Tokyo] Red Shinmei-style shrine

Kitamachi Shinmeisha Shrine in Kokubunji, Tokyo 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 Founded in 1725, the 10th year of the Kyoho era, when Minami-nonakashinden was developed. The deity worshipped is Amaterasu Omikami, the same as that of Ise Grand Shrine. The shrine is located on a side street off the Itsukaichi Kaido. It is slightly elevated, as if to indicate the sacred area. As you walk along the straight approach to the shrine, you will see a red-roofed Shinmei-style shrine building right in front of you. When you go around to the main hall, you will find it surrounded by a red fence.
