Melia Koh Samui

A reasonably priced and new hotel in Koh Samui, located on the north side of the island, convenient to Fishermen’s village and Chawang. This time I booked the cheapest standard room, which was upgraded to a higher level when I checked in. The rooms are large and clean, with a terrace overlooking the pool. The hotel has two swimming pools. The main pool is next to the beach, and there is also a river-like swimming pool for some pool access rooms. The swimming pool is so big. Thailand has just opened and there are not many guests yet. We were alone in the pool most of the time. Down the swimming pool is Chengmon Beach, with clear water and fine sand. You can borrow the hotel's SUP and canoe to play~ The first lunch was at the hotel's restaurant near the beach, where you could see the sea. Breakfast was at the other side near the lobby, with a garden view. Both were great. There were other restaurants to choose from near the beach at night. There is a travel agency right in front of the hotel where you can sign up for tours, call taxis, rent motorcycles, etc. We rented a motorcycle for 3 days, THB250/day.
