Every Friday evening, Koh Samui's Bophut town, which is relatively quiet and calm, comes booming to life from 5pm to 11pm with the opening of the Fisherman's Village Night Market (Walking Street). This night market consists of a narrow beach road and several alleys combining into 1 seamless, bustling night market with so much to see and do. Passing through its main entrance (opposite a petrol station - you can't miss it), the smell of authentic Thai food coming from the hundreds of street vendors will greet you.
