The Kyushu Railway Memorial Museum is roughly divided into four major areas: the main building, the vehicle exhibition hall, the mini railway park and the locomotive display area. There is a Meiji-era train on display in the main building, which is quite retro and nostalgic; there is also an 811 series cab in the exhibition area, which can simulate the operation of a train; there are also models of the Kyushu Railway Panorama, permanent exhibitions, special exhibitions, and more.
