Mongolia - Land of Horses, Skies, and Lakes

#timetotravel Greatly enjoyed visiting Mongolia and in particular, going to its northern and largest lake, the beautiful Lake Khusval/Hoskul. Sister to the more famous Lake Baikal, Khusval is no less majestic and clear. The lake is just warm enough to brave its waters but it’s still freezing cold. Loved the chance to stay in a very cozy wood-fired yurt or ger as the Mongolians called it, and brush up on my equestrian skills on the small but hearty Mongolian horses.
