When he invited Phra Udom Watthana Mongkhon from Wat Awutwikasittharam in Bang Phlat, Thonburi, he surveyed the area on Khao Kamphaeng and found 30 large and small caves. Although it was deserted, it had beautiful nature. He told the layperson that this place was suitable to establish a temple because it was a very auspicious area, peaceful, and shady.
