Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture, known as "Little Edo" ⛩️ This place is famous for its "Enmusubi Wind Chimes" event held every summer 🎐 As the phrase "Kaze no Tsumari" (Wind Message) still remains today, it was believed that "the wind carries people's thoughts" in the past! It's so romantic! The cool sound of the wind chimes echoing in the shrine grounds made me feel the "coolness" of summer, forgetting the scorching heat every day! Each wind chime has a strip of paper with many wishes written on it, and the wishes are carried by the wind, and the important thoughts are conveyed to the "God of Enmusubi" through the sound, and it is a summer event filled with wishes for good relationships 🥸 The "Wind Chime Corridor", covered with a number of colorful wind chimes as well as the sound, created a unique landscape of this place!
