A forest of lantern candles filled with soft light

"Karuizawa Kogen Church Summer Candle Night" will be held from Thursday, August 1st to Saturday, August 31st, 2024. 🕯️More than a century ago, missionaries who visited Karuizawa as a summer resort lit up the town with lanterns. Karuizawa Kogen Church has inherited that custom, and this summer, we will light lantern candles all over the church forest. 🕯️This year's theme is "Joyful". In times when there are many unpredictable things, we want visitors to feel positive and enjoyable, so this is a wonderful event with that feeling in mind. ✨For those who missed out on advance reservations and those who are planning to go now!
