Kapit, Song

Kapit & Song, small towns in Sarawak, East Malaysia. From Sibu, it is about 2hours drive to Song, 3hours drive to Kapit. You can also get there by speedboat. Majority bumiputera (Iban ethnic), followed by Malay and Chinese. There are a lot of "rumah panjang" (longhouses), some are still remain traditional wooden building, some are rebuilt with modern style. You can found a lot of small kopitiam in the shop houses here, which are always crowded. They enjoyed chit-chatting, with kopi / teh & kuih-muih, which is one of the "cultures" of Ibans.
