Strawberry Full Moon

The term "Strawberry Moon" originates from the traditional naming by Native Americans, as June marks the strawberry harvesting season, hence naming this full moon the "Strawberry Moon," symbolizing harvest, fulfillment, and hope. The 2025 "Strawberry Full Moon" gently appeared in night skies worldwide on June 11. This year's Strawberry Moon is not only romantic but also exceptionally special because it coincided with the rare astronomical phenomenon known as the "Major Lunar Standstill," meaning the Moon reached its most extreme position in the sky—an event that occurs only once every 18.6 years.
