Especially when the sun shines on the golden mountain, the whole world becomes pure and peaceful. At that moment, you truly believe in the existence of a fairyland～ . 📍Yala Snow Mountain Among the many snow mountains in Western Sichuan～ Yala Snow Mountain holds a unique attraction for me. Unlike the vastness of Tagong Grassland from a distance, inside the scenic area, you can face its most majestic and beautiful front view, especially after snowfall. The thick snow outlines its most perfect contour. That shock can only be felt by being there in person. . 🏔️【Travel Guide】 1️⃣ Transportation The scenic area entrance is at about 3,800 meters above sea level. You need to transfer to a sightseeing bus to enter. Along the way, you will pass the turquoise lawn, Rainbow Road, and the picturesque Yala Youcuo. 🎨 . 2️⃣ Core Area The sightseeing bus ends at Basong Service Area (about 14 kilometers). From here, to reach the lakes at the foot of the snow mountain or deeper areas, you need to hike or ride a horse (additional fees apply). Please choose whether to go based on your physical strength and altitude sickness condition. . 3️⃣ Best Season From mid-October to November each year, the autumn colors are richest. The colorful forests and snow mountains in the same frame make it the golden period for photography. . 🏔️【Photo Spots】 ❶ Rainbow Road at the scenic area entrance Use the S-shaped road as a leading line to include the snow mountain and colorful forests on both sides in the frame, creating a very dynamic picture. ❷ Yala Bridge Stream Near the first stop of the sightseeing bus, this is a classic spot to shoot the snow mountain, stream, and autumn leaf reflections—fresh and magnificent. ❸ Basong Backhill Lawn About a 2-kilometer hike from the service area backward, there is an open lawn and a small stream. The background is the pure snow mountain, perfect for portraits and wide shots. ❹ Hiking to Yala Youcuo or Sister Lakes If you have enough time and energy, it is highly recommended to hike or ride a horse deep into Sister Lakes. The route is filled with colorful forests and beautiful lake and mountain scenery, the essence of the scenic area. . 🏂【Outdoor OOTD】 The autumn and winter weather in Western Sichuan is changeable, with unpredictable wind and snow.
