Nanwu Temple in southern Sichuan.

Nanwu Temple is located to the south of Kangding City, with a golden roof shining in the lush woods. Nanwu Temple was originally "Namusi" on Paoma Mountain, meaning "Fairy Temple". It is said that "Namusi" was established during the Northern Song Dynasty and was originally a white temple in Tibetan Buddhism. Nanwu Temple is a famous Gelug (Yellow Sect) temple, and together with the neighboring Vajra Temple, it is known as the "Twin Temples in the Clouds", one of the ten ancient scenic spots in Kangding.
