Kanagawa’s Top 100 Bridge

#thingstodo This bridge has a total length of 698m and spans the mouth of the Sagami River along National Route 134. I remembered it as Shonan Ohashi, so what? When I looked into it, I learned that the naming rights had been exercised since 2010, and the right to name the bridge had been exercised. By the way, this is the first time that the right to name a bridge has been exercised. In 2010, it became four lanes up and down, which reduced traffic congestion, but I remember that when it was two lanes, Route 134 was one of the congestion points. The view stretching from the river mouth to the sea is outstanding. In 1991, it was selected as one of Kanagawa's top 100 bridges.
