Beautiful scenery of Hozugawa River, Kyoto

The Hozugawa River is a first-class river in Japan, also known as the Katsura River. The area from Kameoka City to Arashiyama is called the Oi River. The valley where the Hozu River flows is called Hozu Gorge. The local boat culture has been around for more than 400 years. You can see the mountain and forest scenery from the boat. The bridge that runs through the mountains is an iron bridge made in Germany during the Showa period.
