[Shizuoka Prefecture/Kotohito Hachimangu Shrine] A shrine where wishes are said to come true

The grounds are a few steps up, and the shrine grounds spread out before you. The first thing that catches your eye is a giant camphor tree. Looking up, you can see a hump that looks like an ear, and it is said that the hump listens to the prayers of worshippers. The main deity, Kotonomachihime-no-mikoto, is said to grant wishes as they are, and to grant wishes as they are. This is also written in The Pillow Book. In addition to the camphor trees, there are Japanese kaya and oak trees that grow as if they are embracing stones, and a small torii gate is placed at the base of the trees. There is also a remote worship site for the main shrine. The main shrine is a 2-3 minute walk from the torii gate at the entrance, but you can reach it by climbing 270 stone steps.
