The room's hardware is pretty standard, but the view directly faces the museum. The decor is unique, with a combination of orange and gray. However, the bathroom fixtures aren't from any major brands. The welcome gift was very thoughtful; the cookies were a bit too sweet, but still delicious. Diamond members get complimentary access to the mini-fridge, which is well-stocked with items like Evian water and beer. Dining: Since DoubleTree no longer requires a lounge, the alternative is an afternoon tea set. I heard it's good, but I don't enjoy it, so I didn't try it. Service: As a newly opened hotel with low occupancy, the service is exceptionally warm. The concierge was very helpful in opening doors. Tina, the Assistant Front Office Manager, called in advance to inquire about my arrival time and needs, and arranged a room with the best view, which she personally delivered to my room. I'm very grateful for that. Location: The hotel is directly opposite the Kaifeng Museum and 10 km from Mount Wansui and Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, about a 25-minute drive without traffic.
