Cataloochee Ski Area is a ski resort located in southwestern North Carolina, USA, near Maggie Valley, about a 3.5-hour drive from Atlanta. It has beginner, intermediate and advanced ski slopes, which can be reached by cable car. Since I am a beginner, I only practiced skiing on bunny hill⛷️. There were many tourists on the scene, but everyone was quite orderly and there was no need to worry about being bumped into by others. Those who are serious about skiing can hire a coach.
