If you’ve ever dreamed of waking up above a mega mall, fam, this is it – St. Giles Southkey sits RIGHT on top of Mid Valley Southkey Mall (literally steps away at 1, Persiaran Southkey 1, Johor Bahru 📍). I’ve been waiting for a hotel like this since pre-Covid, and OMG, it did not disappoint! My room was super spacious for two people, everything sparkling clean, and the bathroom with those amenities? Sooo good – it had me feeling ✨ boujie ✨. Breakfast? Absolute win. Tons of choices like local loves nasi lemak and teh tarik, all fresh and refilled fast, even when it got busy. The dining space was organized, chill, and perfect for fueling up before mall hopping. The top level is the true flex: a gorgeous swimming pool and a big, well-equipped gym with amazing views (come on, working out never looked this cool 😄💪). The staff are next level friendly! Check-in and checkout were speedy, plus they handled every request like pros. It’s the little things – water dispensers, smart TVs, and super comfy beds – that make the stay shine. Some guests would love a little more attention to room cleanliness and quicker breakfast service, but honestly, those are just nitpicks in such a fab spot.
