Oriental Kopi Egg Tart - Yes or No?

I first saw Oriental Kopi Egg Tart when I was at Mid Valley Southkey Mall and it was long queue even at odd hours.. Was wondering why it’s so popular so I asked my local friends and they too recommended it. Since it’s recommended by locals, I of course must try too (FOMO Alert)! I visited the outlet at Johor Jaya since it’s on the way to where I was heading to and it’s a standalone shop there and it’s very easy to spot the shop. The egg tarts were prepared on demand, so do expect some waiting after paying. However, I think they were pretty fast, I waited for about 20mins and I got mine freshly out from oven😋. Verdict: The egg tart is rather big, very crispy and flaky skin with lots of custard fillings. Definitely worth the try but eating one is just nice (it can get jelat). Anyways, be prepared to always see queue in this shop so only if you have the time to spare then definitely try it:) Pro tip: Get a box of 6 and you get 1 additional tart for free:) #jbfood #orientalkopi #eggtart #
