Peak Season (April–November): The temperature is pleasant, and the scenery is diverse. Especially in mid-to-late October, the colorful forests covering the mountains contrast beautifully with the turquoise water, creating a breathtakingly beautiful scene. • Off-Season (December–March): There are fewer tourists, and the scenic area is more tranquil, allowing for a more peaceful experience. Ticket prices are also relatively lower. • Reminder: July–August is the rainy season and prone to geological disasters. It is recommended to avoid this period. Transportation Guide • Self-driving: From Chengdu, it takes about 8 hours. You can stop by Wenchuan on the way. • Bus: Take a bus from Chadianzi Bus Station to Jiuzhaigou entrance. The journey takes about 10 hours and costs CNY 148. • Airplane: After arriving at Huanglong Airport, it takes another 1.5 hours to reach the scenic area. Tour Route • Morning: Take the shuttle bus from the entrance → Primeval Forest → Reed Lake → Swan Lake → Arrow Bamboo Lake → Panda Lake → Five Flower Lake → Mirror Lake → Nuorilang Lakes. • Noon: Have lunch at Nuorilang Center Station. • Afternoon: Nuorilang Center Station → Long Lake → Five Color Pool → Rhinoceros Lake → Tiger Lake → Shuzheng Waterfall → Shuzheng Lakes → Double Dragon Lake → Reed Lake → Bonsai Shoals. • Evening: Watch the "Tibetan Mystery" show, an authentic Tibetan and Qiang cultural performance. Accommodation Recommendations • Inside the Scenic Area: Nuorilang VIP Building offers VIP sightseeing bus services, allowing you to skip the queues. • Outside the Scenic Area: Guesthouses in Zhangzha Town offer prices starting from CNY 200 and provide a Tibetan cultural experience. Food Recommendations • Tibetan Cuisine: Try roasted whole lamb, highland barley wine, butter tea, milk tea, hand-pulled meat, lamb chops, yak meat, and other authentic Tibetan and Qiang dishes. • Local Snacks: Such as Jiuzhaigou potato cakes and potato dumplings. Important Notes • Jiuzhaigou is a high-altitude scenic area.
