Huanglong Jiuzhaigou Songzhou Three Days and Two Nights Mini Guide.

DAY1 Transportation: 🚅 As we didn't manage to get tickets for the high-speed train from Chengdu to Huanglong Jiuzhaigou Station, we bought tickets to Songpan Station. This added 20 minutes to our journey to the scenic area, but it was still within acceptable limits. 🚌 You can take a direct bus to the scenic area from the station. Luggage storage is available at hotels and visitor centers. Note⚠️: There will be people on the bus trying to sell altitude sickness prevention products. If you are worried about altitude sickness, it is recommended to do your research in advance and take precautions, such as drinking red景天 (Rhodiola) in advance. Ways to play: 1️⃣ Leg-intensive but scenic version: Take the cable car up, then walk to the Five-Color Pool, then walk down, passing by the Contending Beauty Pool, etc. The scenery is on the way! You may also encounter many small animals (approximately 3 hours). 2️⃣ Energy-saving version: There is a sightseeing bus at the top of the cable car. Tickets are available 14 days in advance and are limited to 5,000 per day.⚠️ Purchase in advance! DAY2 Transportation: 🚗 There is no direct bus from Huanglong Scenic Area to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. You can first go to Huanglong Jiuzhaigou Station (only afternoon trains) and then go to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. To make the most of our time, the three of us chose to charter a car to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. It cost 400 yuan from Huanglong Scenic Area to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. Ways to play: ⚠️ The highest point is arranged by the scenic area dispatcher. Go to Changhai or the Primeval Forest first. 1️⃣ Changhai → Five-Color Pool → Nuorilang Visitor Center Personally, I think Changhai is a bit like Tianchi Lake in Changbai Mountain! The Five-Color Pool is a very delicate small pool with the most translucent colors. 2️⃣ Primeval Forest → Fragrant Grassland → Swan Lake → Pearl Beach → Pearl Beach Waterfall → Panda Sea → Mirror Lake → Nuorilang Waterfall → Reed Sea ① The Primeval Forest is a man-made forest. Go in and breathe some fresh air. You can take a bus from the exit to the next stop (but you will skip Swan Lake and Fragrant Grassland). (These two places are quite beautiful. You can also walk directly from the Primeval Forest to see these two places. It is about 3 kilometers to the bus stop.) ② Take the Reed Sea to the Bonsai Beach, then walk up about 800 meters to the精华段 (essence section). You can also get off at Spark Sea and walk down from the top, but it will be a 2.6 km walk. The Reed Sea is quite beautiful! It's different from other seas. Tips: In fact, the colors of many seas are similar, so we picked a few to look at carefully and didn't take photos at some of them. There's not much to say about the rest of the trip! It mainly depends on your own choices. DAY3 Transportation: 🚗 Take a direct bus to Songpan Ancient Town in the morning. The ancient town is about 5 kilometers from Songpan Station. Ways to play: If the weather is good, it is quite comfortable to walk around the ancient town. You can finish it in one or two hours! It has the largest yak beef market in the southwest region. Food: 🍲 Don't miss the 1 yuan per skewer yak beef skewers (fresh and delicious). Then have a bowl of hot beef offal soup, and your life will be complete.
