Lishui 3-Day Photography Tour

On the morning of the 27th day of the 12th lunar month (January 26, 2025), at 6 am, with the help of a travel guide carefully prepared by my daughter, our family officially started our Spring Festival holiday in Lishui. Since we had booked the hotel in advance, the itinerary was basically carried out as planned. After leaving home, we took the subway to Hangzhou East Railway Station, and then transferred to the high-speed train to Jinyun. The whole process of getting up and catching the high-speed train was tight but not rushed, thanks to my daughter's excellent time planning. After leaving Hangzhou, the train went further south, and the rain outside the window seemed to get heavier. According to the weather forecast, it was also raining in Jinyun. So, before arriving at Jinyun West Railway Station, our family decided to go directly to Lishui to settle down that day, so we changed the original arrival station to Jinyun West and postponed the sightseeing plan of Jinyun Xiandu to the 28th day of the 12th lunar month, because the forecast said it would be sunny tomorrow. When we arrived at Lishui Railway Station, the rain had lessened a lot. Since there was no specific arrangement in Lishui that day, we suddenly had plenty of time. We opened the Amap app and found a bus to the hotel at the high-speed railway station. After a few stops, we arrived at the hotel smoothly. The hotel we booked is located next to Lishui Intime City, adjacent to Nanming Lake and Lishui Museum. After checking in and putting down our luggage, we went to the museum. The Longquan sword and Qingtian stone carving in the museum left a deep impression on us. In the evening, the rain stopped, and the weather was a little cool. With nothing to do, I went for a walk along the Nanming Lake, which was also a way to explore the road in advance, as we would stay in Lishui for a whole day. On the 28th day of the 12th lunar month, we packed up at 6:30 am, took a taxi to the high-speed railway station, and took the high-speed train to Jinyun West. We arrived at Jinyun West Railway Station at about 7:30 am. After leaving the station, we easily found the bus to Xiandu Scenic Area. Perhaps because it was close to the Spring Festival and it was still early, there were only three of us on the bus all the way to the scenic area. When we arrived at the entrance of the scenic area, the tourist service area had just started to operate, and we felt that we were the first tourists of the day. We took the shuttle bus in the scenic area, and there were still only three of us on the bus. The driver asked us where to get off, and we learned that it would save time to go to the terminal station Dinghu Peak and then visit the scenic spots one by one. So we asked the driver to drive directly to the terminal station and started our free trip. At Dinghu Peak, we walked along the winding mountain road to the top of the mountain. Although we were a little tired along the way, when we stood on the top of the mountain and looked around, the continuous mountains and clear lakes were all in sight. The unique scenery at the top made everything worthwhile. When we went down the mountain, we chose to take the cable car to enjoy different fun. During the slow descent, we enjoyed the beautiful mountains and rivers from a different perspective. Then, we visited the Yellow Emperor Temple. The simple architectural style and rich cultural heritage made us feel the weight of history. Then, we visited Zhutan Mountain, Yandang Study, and Xiaochibi in turn. These places have their own characteristics, with mountains and rivers depending on each other and a strong cultural atmosphere. We felt that these places should be must-see places in Xiandu Scenic Area. As for the scholar's view of the stele at Xiaochibi, it is really "a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people's eyes", and everyone has their own opinion. It is what you think it is. Before 4 pm, we finished our trip to Xiandu Scenic Area, took the bus to Jinyun West Railway Station, and then took the high-speed train back to Lishui. In the evening, our family had a reunion dinner at the hotel. Considering that it was difficult to book a table in a restaurant on New Year's Eve and that our family did not have the habit of having dinner, the dinner on the 28th day of the 12th lunar month was our New Year's Eve reunion dinner. After dinner, the restaurant gave each of us a pudding, which was delicious, beautiful, and meaningful. The weather was fine on New Year's Eve. In the morning, we walked along the Nanming Lake for a long time, passing the site of Chuzhou City Gate, and then climbed the Xiaoshuimen Bridge. Standing on the bridge and looking at the direction of Zijin Bridge, we saw mountains, water, pavilions, and towers reflecting each other and blending into one, like a natural ink painting. We all took out our phones to take pictures. In Binshui Park, we saw koi fish playing happily in the flowing stream. There was no access control or patrol personnel in the park. These koi fish were within reach, but they could swim leisurely in the stream. The scene in front of us made us secretly praise the civilization of the people in this city. In the afternoon, we returned to the hotel, and I went to the hotel swimming pool for more than an hour. I have to say that the swimming pool environment of Intime Marriott Hotel is good. Even if I was the only one in the swimming pool at first, the lifeguard was always on duty. On the first day of the first lunar month, we had breakfast a little later, packed our luggage, checked out, went to the high-speed railway station, and took the high-speed train back to Hangzhou. We arrived home early in the afternoon. This Spring Festival was the first time for our family to spend it outside. We left early and returned early. There were few tourists in all the scenic spots, and the accommodation cost was lower than that during the Spring Festival. The whole trip was relaxing and pleasant. I sincerely thank my daughter for her early planning and reasonable arrangement during the trip, which gave us an unforgettable Spring Festival travel memory. (February 15, 2025)
