Visit the most low-key ancient village, Heyang Ancient Dwellings, with a history of more than 800 years. Many scholars, literati, and poets have come from here. Horsehead walls, Huizhou-style architecture, ancestral halls, and deep courtyards. There are not many people during the holidays. I found a homestay and stayed for two days. I wandered around the village during the day and went to bed early at night. It felt like a retreat. Transportation: Take the high-speed train to Jinyun West Station, then take a taxi for about 10 km. Tickets: CNY 40 at the entrance of the village. The ticket office is closed at night, so no tickets are required. Food: There is almost no commerce in the village. There is a small shop selling Jinyun pancakes, which are average. I heard from the villagers that you can order takeout.
