Shisi Temple, located at the southern end of Xier Village, Daji Township, Jingning She Autonomous County, Zhejiang Province, was first built in the tenth year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1140). It was originally the tomb-keeping hut of Mei Yuanyuan. After expansion and renovation, it became a religious building that integrates Buddhist and Taoist cultures. The temple currently has the mountain gate, bell tower, Mahavira Hall, and other ancient buildings with characteristics from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. It is a unique type in the Yuan and Ming architectural system of Zhejiang and is also a national key cultural relic protection unit.
