Be a "wild child" for a day | Venture into the rainforest

Forget the hustle and bustle of the Starlight Night Market. Today, I ventured into a true primeval rainforest with a Jinuo guide. We waded upstream along the stream, stepping on stones and wading through the trees. We swung on ancient vines, like we were filming an adventure movie! 🪵 We climbed over buttress-rooted trees, squatted by the water looking for small crabs, and painted our faces with colorful stones—rainforest "camouflage." The guide casually cut a branch, and it became natural sugarcane—sweet and juicy! Our feet were covered in mud, but we were incredibly happy. Returning to the mountains felt so liberating. Even on the way back to the city, I could still smell the fragrance of the grass and trees. This must be the beauty of Xishuangbanna!
