Xishuanbanna, or just Banna, is getting really busy after each sunset. Architecture and local language will make you confused where you actually are. The main market is full of people looking for souvenirs or night food. It’s also a really popular area for taking awesome pics! For 100-200 kuai you can rent a beautiful Dai people costume and your private photographer will take you to the best spots. What to eat? I recommend cold or fried noodles and definitely try BeerLao - really good beer from neighbouring Laos! The whole area is huge so you can endlessly walk there for hours. I also recommend daytime!
