Come to Xishuangbanna, Yunnan for a vacation with Arrietty! Experience the Dai culture of Xishuangbanna in a Dai-style building! Arrietty's Secret Garden My partner and I, along with my grandparents, stayed in a very warm and welcoming homestay. Located in a Dai village, the homestay features traditional Dai architecture, which is very attractive. The hostess is incredibly hospitable, and you can chat with her to experience authentic Dai culture. It's also very close to the Dai Park, just a short taxi ride away, where you can experience the fun of the Water Splashing Festival. It's also very close to Manyuan Village. We rode the homestay's electric scooter and arrived in about ten minutes. In Manyuan Village, you can experience the local ethnic customs. The architecture there is unique, and the popular variety show "Back to Field" was also filmed in Manyuan Village. You can see the scenes from the show up close, which is worth experiencing. The most highly recommended thing in Manyuan Village is the roast chicken at No. 21. It's super delicious! Seven of us ordered more than ten dishes, and it only cost a little over 300 yuan. The value is incredible! In the homestay's garden, you can enjoy a delightful afternoon tea with snacks and fruits. (PS: The tea and fruits were prepared by the hostess; we just brought our appetites, haha). There's a fire pit in the courtyard where you can gather around, roast sweet potatoes and tea, and chat. In Xishuangbanna, where it feels like summer even in winter, it's incredibly comfortable! The homestay also provides free bicycles and electric scooters, so you can ride to the Dai Park. And, oh, the Dai clothes here are free to wear for photos, so you don't have to rent them elsewhere! (The photos turn out great!) The hostess also has a super cute border collie (named Etty, who is incredibly smart). She's very friendly and loves to play with people. It's hard not to fall in love with her. This homestay in Xishuangbanna is highly recommended.
