Xishuangbanna Tropical Flower Garden is located in Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, covering an area of 120 hectares. It is a national science popularization education base, a national patriotism education demonstration base, and a national AAAA tourist attraction. The flower garden is themed with "the appearance of the garden and the connotation of scientific research", and collects and preserves nearly 1,000 kinds of tropical special economic forest trees, tropical flowers, tropical fruits and other hot germplasm resources. It has become an important garden for the preservation of tropical crop germplasm resources by the Provincial Hot Work Institute, and is a theme botanical garden integrating scientific research, popular science, and tourism. On April 14, 1961, Premier Zhou Enlai visited the Yunnan Tropical Crop Science Research Institute and held a state meeting with Burmese Prime Minister U Nu.
