Weekend Getaway Plan for the Family----Xishuangbanna

This weekend, I had a fun time in Xishuangbanna with my family. Sisters who want a short trip can refer to our travel 📝 ⚪ 🌸 We set off on Friday night after picking up the baby from school. The flight was 3 hours long ✈️, and it was just after 9 pm when we landed. The homestay's shuttle 🚗 was there to pick us up, and in about 30 minutes, we arrived at our homestay in the Gaozhuang scenic area. The connection was super smooth and seamless 💕 Thanks to the Rainforest Secret Jiang View Inn we booked, the housekeepers were so thoughtful! ✨ ⚪ 🌸 After dropping off our small suitcases, right outside the homestay was the long-awaited Starlight Night Market, which was indeed very different from the usual city night markets 🎉. There were Pakistani telescopic wooden plates, hand-polished bodhi bead strings 🔮, colorful little elephants of various sizes and materials 🐘, and handmade braids with beads ✨. It was our first time seeing all these, and of course, there was the Dai-style barbecue laid on banana leaves 🍡, and performers dressed in Dai costumes put on a wonderful show. By the time we finished strolling and eating, it was already past 1 am 😄 ⚪ 🌸 Our usual biological clocks woke us up early. Opening the curtains, the sunlight streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows 🌤️, casting light on the room's floor. The air in Xishuangbanna was exceptionally fresh, and the scenery outside the window looked even more enchanting under the sunlight. Looking at the endless Lancang River 🌊 and the lush green mountains 🌳, we felt an immense sense of comfort and tranquility. The view from this room was really beautiful ❤️ ⚪ 🌸 The homestay was a standalone Dai-style stilted villa 🏡 with three floors. The lobby on the first floor was bright and spacious, and further inside was a small courtyard full of flowers and plants 💐. The design of benches and thatched umbrellas gave the place a holiday vibe. Drinking a pot of tea, having a cup of coffee, the feeling of being on vacation slowly enveloped us ⛱️. Life really shouldn't be just about trivialities and compromises; perhaps we should treat ourselves more generously 🌹 ⚪ 🌸 We returned on Sunday afternoon, getting home at around 10 pm. We're looking forward to another wonderful weekend even more 🌷
