Turn into the first intersection on the right [Tandian Road] after entering the gate. Each store has its own unique sculpture crafts with peculiar shapes. You can pick some stores you like and take a look around. Recommended: "Nearby Collection", "One Courtyard", "Wild Shop", "amicizia", ​​etc. If you are tired of shopping, you can go to Meiyanso or Lanpi to have a cup of coffee and take a break. Evening: Taoxichuan Night Market Taoxichuan is a block built by renovation of old factories. There is a night market in the evening. Most of the stalls sell handicrafts designed by niche designers. They have unique shapes and are slightly expensive. There are many kiln-style buildings and red brick houses in the neighborhood, which are very photogenic under the night lights. There are also cultural and street performances on the roadside, and the overall atmosphere is very good. Day 2 Morning: China Ceramics Museum The museum is closed on Mondays, and is open from 9:00 to 17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday. Make sure to make an appointment at "Visit Jingdezhen" 7 days in advance!!! The museum has a total of 7 floors, and the Silent Buddha is on the 6th floor. If you are not obsessed with taking photos, you don’t have to queue up (the line is very, very long, and the air conditioning in the museum is not enough, so be careful with children!), and you can go directly to the Silent Buddha to take a photo and check in. The museum has free lectures at fixed times. You can go to the service desk to inquire and register. The lectures are full of useful information and are well worth listening to. Otherwise, taking children on a tour would be like just a cursory visit, which is not recommended. Afternoon: Imperial Kiln Museum It is recommended to make an appointment 3 days in advance!!! Now you need to buy a ticket to enter Taoyangli Scenic Area regardless of day or night. It is recommended to walk around the old alleys of the scenic area first. There are small shops and handicraft workshops in the alleys where you can visit and experience. We experienced overglaze color here. After the painting, the shop fired it and mailed it to our home. There are also kiln groups from the Ming and Qing dynasties in the scenic area. This is the best-preserved ground industrial remains and landmark historical sites in the old city of Jingdezhen. It is well worth a visit if you bring your children. Later, you can go into the museum and take a leisurely stroll around. In the afternoon, when the light is good, you can take great photos. About travel: People in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai can travel by car, but we travel by train. I've seen many guides suggesting renting an electric scooter, but in the hot summer, I still recommend taking a taxi. Jingdezhen is not big and a taxi will get you there for just over a dozen yuan.
