The pottery village surrounded by mountains and water boasts a natural charm and a strong artistic atmosphere

The famed Tao Yuan Valley (Sanbao) in Jingdezhen is said to be overcrowded during holidays, with severe traffic congestion and even a queue for a cup of coffee. On weekdays, however, a leisurely stroll here can be very pleasant, with the beautiful natural scenery of mountains and water. Once you enter Tao Yuan Valley, there's a Sanbao Road that leads straight through, with ceramic shops of all sizes lining the way. The business environment is uncertain. Inside Tao Yuan Valley, there's a Sanbao International Pottery Village. It is said that when the potter Li Jianshen first built this place, it was really a remote and sparsely populated area. Later, he introduced the concept of 'resident artists,' which attracted many ceramic artists from around the world to come for study and exchange. Gradually, Sanbao Village became well-known to the public.
