The famous House of the Huangcheng Chancellor (皇城相府-总宪府) is located near to to the city of Jincheng in northern China's Shanxi Province. This place can be reached by car or bus and the best time to visit is Spring or Summer, as the warm sunshine allows for good photo conditions. Tour guides are available at the front gate, along with maps and souvenirs. The place itself is fantastic for exploring, as there are numerous small alleyways and courtyards. You can also go inside the many buildings and see the beautiful relics and artefacts. The architecture is stunning and mysterious at the same time. Climb to the upper terrrace to see the wonderful tower and a panorama of the surrounding countryside.
