Jinan Wulongtan I live here where the spring water "glows"

Compared to the famous Baotu Spring, the "Wulongtan Park" just across the way feels more like a quiet backyard hidden by locals—serene, simple, yet brimming with real vitality everywhere. It is said that there are 28 springs here, each with its own temperament. Max luck! I encountered the once-in-60-years "Crescent Waterfall"! Because of twenty consecutive days of rain, the Crescent Spring has reappeared with the rare waterfall spectacle not seen in 60 years! If you miss it this year, who knows when it will come again! 📸 Crazy photo ops: ➊ Second floor of Mingshi Pavilion: Overlooking the entire Wulongtan, with schools of koi beneath the water, it’s the perfect spot for "Dragon Pool Fish Watching." Recommended to come in the morning to see the sparkling spring water (the pavilion blocks part of the spring in the afternoon). ➋ Autumn and winter dawn redwood forest: A super atmospheric dawn redwood forest. A seasonal beauty in autumn and winter. Golden dawn redwoods reflect in the clear spring water, a pair of little ducks quack and swim by, rippling colorful waves on the water—truly a fantastic photo spot! ➌ Huaxi Fish Feeding: I especially love a spring called Huaxi. The water color is particularly beautiful, a gentle blue-green. Just as some kids were feeding the fish, 🐟 all gathered in one spot waiting to be fed, shimmering with tiny lights under the sunlight. Standing on the small stone bridge watching the fish, I stayed for a long time before leaving. ➍ Lian Spring Water Listening: Walking along Huaxi further ahead, there’s another surprisingly beautiful spring, Lian Spring. The spring water overflows onto the ground, flowing loudly between the stone slabs, full of life! Wulongtan in this season seems quietly color-tuned by nature: the blue of the spring water, the green of the willow branches, the red and yellow of the dawn redwoods… everywhere is full of vitality, with no sign of winter’s arrival. If you come to Jinan, don’t just visit Baotu Spring, spend two hours at Wulongtan Park! It’s truly stunning in a very understated way!
