What?! A four-star hotel in Jinan for just over 200?!

No clickbait here!! It's really just over 200!! Last week, I took my kid to play in western Jinan and stayed at the FONTOO Hotel Jinan in Tianqiao District. I didn't expect such a great experience when booking! FONTOO is a four-star hotel under Jinjiang Group, and this Jinan location has very new facilities! The hotel is located at No. 30 Lanxiang Middle Road, Tianqiao District, Times Headquarters Base, offering comprehensive spaces including a reception area, guest rooms, restaurant, SPA, meeting rooms, fitness center, and laundry room. The design features a sense of order with lines and geometric elements, primarily in blue, black, and white, showcasing great artistic taste. There's a huge parking lot with plenty of nearby charging spots. Our booked king room featured a DeRUCCI mattress, truly comfortable. The room was spacious and bright, with a separate dry/wet bathroom. The comb and toothbrush were made of solid wood - the comb was especially adorable! When my kid spilled sauce on clothes, we used the laundry room with three brand-new Haier washing machines and dryers, complete with disinfectant and laundry sheets - super thoughtful. Nearby was a sizable gym with all necessary equipment. Highly recommend their breakfast - different dishes daily with various staples, plus yogurt, coffee, juice, soy milk, etc. The salad, fruit, and bread selections were abundant. The standout was the tofu pudding - Jinan-style is unique, and the hotel's version was incredibly authentic, instantly transporting me back to childhood flavors. During our two-night stay, the staff were exceptionally warm, storing our leftover roast duck in the fridge and even reheating it for us at 10pm when we got hungry. Kudos to the restaurant's hygiene - spotless with plates covered by white cloths and trash cans completely empty. I initially worried the location might be too remote, but it proved convenient. While not downtown, it's right by the expressway for quick access everywhere! Just 2km from Bailian Outlets. A 15-minute drive to IKEA, Decathlon, Jinan Forest Park, Fantawild, or Oulebao. 20 minutes to Jinan West Station and Shandong Science and Technology Museum. 30 minutes to Baotu Spring and Daming Lake.
