Shandong Hotel

Shandong Hotel is located in the southern part of Jinan, Shandong Province, in the midst of the 1,300-acre South Suburb Garden and the 700-acre Spring City Park. It is adjacent to Qianfo Mountain in the east, and is known as the "Royal Garden" for its elegant and tranquil environment. The main building of the hotel was designed by the world-renowned John Portman & Associates, and the interior decoration was designed by the South Australian "Five International". The hotel covers an area of 150 acres and has a construction area of 130,000 square meters. It consists of a guest room building, a convention and exhibition center, and the Shandong Hall. It is a comprehensive multi-functional building complex integrating conferences, exhibitions, business, accommodation, leisure, entertainment, and banquets. The guest room building of Shandong Hotel starts with a high flying eaves-style canopy, which seems to be a giant hand reaching out to welcome guests from all over the world; the intentionally lowered entrance gives people a feeling of being close to home. The entrance passage, which is more than ten meters long, is guided by a corridor similar to the Chinese garden grape trellis. As soon as you enter the foyer, you will be suddenly enlightened. The 23-meter-high naturally lit foyer is supported by 20 sky-high pillars and is known as the first foyer in China by industry insiders. Shandong Hotel has a complete range of entertainment facilities, including sauna, swimming pool, gym, shuffleboard, bowling, simulated golf, simulated shooting range, squash, table tennis, billiards, and other facilities, making it a good place for accommodation and leisure for tourists.
