The hotel's exterior and interior are indeed quite old, but the price is reasonable. Before checking in, I had a brief chat and mentioned my needs. In the end, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the app had upgraded me to a suite before I checked in. The room's interior does show its age, with an old-fashioned style as soon as you enter. The room is quite large, but it is indeed old, and the headboard is blackened. There is no guest bathroom; it has been converted into a kitchen, similar to the Sheraton in Wuhan (including a washing machine in the bathroom). The shower in the bathroom is uncomfortable for someone like me who is 186 cm tall, as the showerhead is positioned at waist level, making it difficult to wash my hair and body. They do provide plenty of bottled water, 8 bottles per day. The hotel's breakfast includes braised pork with rice, which is decent—nothing exceptional but standard. However, the Happy Hour in the lounge is excellent, with a noodle station that can serve as a complete dinner. The staff service is very nice and attentive, unlike the concierge, who had to ask around just to find out how long it takes to get to the airport. In summary, the hotel is worth the price, the lounge service is very nice, and the braised pork under the Beiyuan overpass is delicious, although it has changed its name.
