Impressions of Jinan

The feeling of Jinan is very Shandong, quite different from several coastal cities on the Jiaodong Peninsula. The food, living habits, and customs are all different. Pictures ①②: Penglai Pavilion, which is overrated. The management of the scenic area is quite outdated. A stele written by Su Shi himself (③) is casually placed in a shabby glass box, which is quite regrettable. Picture ⑦: Daming Lake in Jinan, crowded with tourists. A gentle breeze blows by the lake, bringing the faint and sweet fragrance of lotus leaves. Although the temperature is 30 degrees, it doesn't feel hot, and the fatigue is greatly reduced. I visited the memorial halls of Xin Qiji and Lao She, received patriotic education, walked on the Baihua Embankment built by Zeng Gong, and looked back at the 'Chaoran Tower' hidden among the green trees, which appeared even more ancient and majestic. I felt grateful to live in such a happy era. Jinan is a 'City of Springs.' I had visited when I was in college, and Baotu Spring had no water at that time. This time, I found that the spring water in Jinan is really clear. The Jinan Museum is indeed a provincial-level museum with a rich variety of collections and a large scale. After a few hours of visiting, there was so much information that it was overwhelming and needed to be digested properly. I had the privilege to see all ten of the museum's treasures. Doesn't ⑤ look a bit like those from Sanxingdui? ⑥ is an authentic work by Zheng Banqiao. The Jinan Museum has a particularly amazing 3D video demonstration of the Grand Canal, making you feel as if you are sitting at the bow of a boat, flying with the wind.
