There are few hotels in the southern part of Jinan, so the Hilton naturally becomes a core hotel in the south of the city. With its relatively affordable prices, it's a very good choice! The hotel is very close to the Ximen bus station of Lingxiu City, which provides bus connections to the city center and the train station. There is also a bus to the airport, which takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes to get there. It's about a 25-minute drive to Jinan Railway Station. The hotel lobby is an 'air lobby', where all guests need to go to the 35th floor to check in, and then take another elevator to their rooms. According to frequent travelers, this hotel used to have a very good reputation. Located in the south of the city and being the tallest landmark building in the area, it has a nice surrounding environment and is relatively new. Of course, the positive feelings come more from the hotel's generosity, with rich welcome gifts, generous room upgrades, and excellent service! However, in recent years, there seems to be a decline, not only in the aging of the facilities but also in the service, especially the generosity towards members. The overall rating has gone from 'very good' in the past to 'not bad' or 'okay' now! The hotel prices in Jinan do not fluctuate much between the peak and off-peak seasons, remaining relatively stable. Prices are not high during the peak season and not low during the off-peak season. However, it is puzzling that the hotel charges a high parking fee even for guests staying at the hotel! The breakfast is served on the 37th floor in the buffet restaurant, which is also very spacious, and it's rare to see it full. The view here is similar to that of the executive lounge, where you can enjoy the mountain scenery and the cityscape, which feels great! The variety and taste of the food are quite good, especially with freshly made buns and stews. Of course, I prefer the environment here!
