Finally found my dream house in Jieyang Ancient City

Finally‼️ Found my dream house in Jieyang Ancient City🏮 Friends👋, I found a B&B in Jieyang Ancient City that was converted from a "Si Dian Jin" mansion. Staying there felt like traveling back in time to a wealthy family in the Ming and Qing dynasties! I stayed three nights for just 💰200+ per night on average. It's super cost-effective, and the atmosphere at night is amazing!💯 🔥 Here are a few things I really liked: 1️⃣ Feels like living in a "Chaoshan Forbidden City" Si Dian Jin mansion🎐 This B&B was converted from a traditional Chaoshan "Si Dian Jin" house! The courtyard, carved beams, and inlaid porcelain murals... It was stunning from the moment I walked in! ✨ I heard that "Si Dian Jin" was a type of mansion that only wealthy families could build in ancient times. The layout is comparable to a Beijing courtyard house, but it pays more attention to feng shui and wealth accumulation. The courtyard gathers wind and energy, and staying there made me feel "noble." The owner has mostly preserved the original structure, and decorated it with antique furniture and old Chaoshan objects. Every photo I took looked like a traditional Chinese painting📸. 2️⃣ Second-floor platform with a direct view of Shuangfeng Temple at night! The second floor of the B&B is the best! Both the rooms and the terrace offer views of the illuminated Shuangfeng Temple⛩️. When night falls, the ancient temple is resplendent, and the lights intertwine with the lantern lights in the B&B's courtyard, creating a wonderful atmosphere✨. 3️⃣ Amazing location, steps away from food and fun The B&B is located in the heart of Jieyang Ancient City! It's a 5-minute walk👟 to Zhongshan Street, a renovated century-old arcade street, where the ancient city's night market is also located. You can find oyster pancakes, sweet soups, beef balls, and salted chicken wings🍗 here. It's a 10-minute walk to Jinxian Gate and the Qingshi Cultural Exhibition Area, where you can see Yingge dance and Chaozhou opera performances during festivals! It's also super convenient to walk to Shuangfeng Temple and Jieyang Xuegong.👍 4️⃣ Incredible value for money, super attentive service The room we booked was 💰200+ per night on average, and it was sparkling clean! The bedding was the same as in star-rated hotels, and the owner even gave us some Chaoshan snacks. So satisfying～😌 💰: 180-300 per person (even cheaper during the off-season!) 📸 Photo Tips ▪️ Wear Hanfu or modern Chinese clothing and take photos in the courtyard and under the carved doorways. The bougainvillea trees are a great spot for photos📸. ▪️ Shuangfeng Temple lights up after 7pm, so remember to grab a spot on the terrace early! ☀ Stroll, eat, and take photos of folk customs during the day, and🌙 drink tea🍵, listen to music🎶, and watch the temple lights in the century-old house at night. This is the right way to travel in Chaoshan😭. Hurry up, ladies! This place is seriously worth it!!
